Built in 1890 as the home of James W. Dillon, known as the father of Dillon County, this house is on the National Register of Historic Places. After the Dillon County Historical Society purchased it in 1967, it was moved to this site and restored as a museum to preserve a record of those who contributed to the development of Dillon County.
