Henry F. (Lowe) Warner, a native of Troy, received the Medal of Honor, the nation's highest military decoration, for heroism on Dec. 20-21, 1944, during the Battle of the Bulge. He was killed in action on the morning of the 21st and is buried 200 yards south.
