Private Farrell J. Vice served in the Army as an E-4A in Company A, 2/18 Infantry, 1st Infantry Division. He fought for his country in Vietnam and selflessly made the ultimate sacrifice for justice and freedom. His decorations included the Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation and eight medal awards: the Silver Star, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three bronze stars, Vietnam Gallantry Medal Cross Citation Individual, and Vietnam Campaign Medal.
