The site was home to the Third Timberville Community School from 1887 to 1913, Timberville High School from 1914 to 1952, and Timberville Elem. School from 1952 to 1972. Its 100th anniversary was dedicated on August 2, 2014 with the words, "School days, school days; dear old golden rule days."
