Roann Covered Bridge is a historic wooden Howe truss road bridge in Roann, Indiana, spanning the Eel River in Paw Paw Township. Built in 1877 by the Smith Bridge Company of Toledo, Ohio, it is notable for its substantial size at 288 feet long, with a roadway 15 feet 4 inches wide. Painted board-and-batten siding gives it the enclosed look associated with classic covered bridges. Located within the Roann Historic District, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. It remains one of the community’s defining historic structures and preserves a 19th-century bridge type once common in Indiana.
