Hurrle-Weston Home
History
1
The Hurrle-Weston Home was built for Charles J. Hurrle, manager of the Stockton Glass Works. In 1915, Mrs. J.D. McDougald purchased it for her daughter, Carolyn, and her son-in-law, Paul Weston, a local farmer and the second chairman of the Stockton Port Commission. This ten room home once fronted the North Street Canal, the former northern limits of the city.
