Established before the Civil War, this cemetery was part of a large plantation owned by Boley J. and Annie Traweek Conner. Its earliest burial is Burwell Traweek, a veteran of the War of 1812. It also contains the graves of several Confederate veterans, and Governor Martin S. (“Mike”) Conner was a descendant of this family.
