Roseville's first hospital was later housed in the two story brick residence of Roseville pioneer John Doyle's family, built in 1890. The building was later utilized as a private hospital for J.L. Fanning, M.D. In 1954, the building was razed and the present building was constructed for Safeway Market. Special recognition was given to Frank R. Moore and Feather River Seventy Five for a 1993 renovation.
