Goshen Road

After 1808, Goshen Road was a main route of travel running northwesterly from Shawneetown by way of the U.S. Salines, or Salt Works, to near Edwardsville. Most of the early settlements were located along the Goshen Road, which crosses Illinois Highway 14 at this point in Hamilton County.
