West Middletown honored local service across multiple American wars by recording the names of its soldiers from the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the War of 1861—65, the Spanish-American War, and the World War of 1914—1918, including commissioned officers, privates, U.S. Navy service, and U.S. Colored Troops.
