Oregon Observatory in Sunriver, Oregon, near Sunriver Resort, is an astronomical observatory operated by the not-for-profit Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory as part of its educational and science-focused work. The observatory grew significantly in the early 2010s. It had eleven telescopes in 2011 and expanded to twenty-three by 2013, including thirteen with apertures of 10 inches, or 25 centimeters, or more. In July 2012, it was renamed Oregon Observatory at Sunriver, reflecting both its identity and its setting within the central Oregon community.
