The Flynt Building was built in 1909 of red brick with frosted glass above a wood awning. It first housed a confectionary and has an ornate marble counter and back bar. Its exterior was remodeled in 1950. It is the oldest retail firm in town at its original location. Its first owner was E. W. Flynt (1888-1968).
