Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church was incorporated on May 20, 1872, and dissolved on Sept. 9, 1942. Its incorporators were Rev. W. O. Wilson, George Crumrine, Valentine Crumrine, Abraham Crumrine, Yost Loar, Jacob Nickerson, and Samuel Garrett. Horn Burial Ground was overseen by present cemetery directors G. W. Miles, S. A. Lewis, Fred B. Swihart, Jerome Moore, and Charles Croft.
