The Lincoln County Regiment was a local militia in Lincoln County, North Carolina, during the American Revolution. On October 7th, 1780, these patriots participated in a major strategic victory at the Battle of Kings Mountain. The men of the Lincoln County Regiment were known as the "South Fork Boys" and are honored for their contributions to American independence.
