Lime Valley Covered Bridge, also known as Strasburg Bridge, spans Pequea Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, near Willow Street. Built in 1871 at a reported cost of $3,500, it is credited to either Joseph Cramer or Elias McMellen and replaced an earlier 1857 twin bridge nearby. The county-owned bridge is a single-span wooden structure using double Burr arch trusses reinforced with steel hanger rods, a classic regional design. Measuring 93 feet in span and 103 feet overall, with a 13-foot deck width, it retains the red-and-white paint scheme typical of Lancaster County covered bridges. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, it remains a preserved example of Pennsylvania’s covered-bridge heritage.
