The Makah Peaks are a cluster of mountain summits near Neah Bay on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, in Clallam County at the peninsula’s far northwestern corner. Reaching 511 metres, or 1,676 feet, they are not especially high, but they form part of the rugged landscape that defines this coastal region. Their setting is significant for showing where the Olympic Peninsula’s low mountains rise at the Pacific edge of the continental United States.
