The men of Bradley County who gave their lives in World War II were honored by the people of Cleveland and Bradley County in a memorial dedicated on November 11, 1948, under the sponsorship of James Blankenship Post 2598, Veterans of Foreign Wars, as a tribute to their sacrifice in preserving freedom.
