Touched by biblical verses read inside the chapel, Ajwad Imad el Hashem and his friends vowed to fulfill a dream of bringing a cedar tree from Lebanon to the center of the U.S.A. The cedar was presented as a symbol of eternal love for Lebanon, and Lebanese emigrants were urged to stay true to the cedar and to their first love, Lebanon. The effort was associated with Ajwad Imad el Hachem, Kaisar Maakar, Joseph Nawfal, George Nader, Charbel Nader, Roger Harb, and George Maalouf, under the patronage of Ambassador of Lebanon Gabriel Issa, on June 15, 2019.
