Snow Creek Falls

Snow Creek Falls is a long series of cascades in Yosemite National Park near the eastern end of Yosemite Valley. Fed by a substantial stream that begins at May Lake to the north, it descends through a steep gorge east of the trail that climbs above Mirror Lake toward North Dome and the north rim. Instead of a single vertical drop, the waterfall steps down the gorge in extended cascades. As the second highest waterfall in Yosemite National Park, it is one of the park’s most striking high-country descents.
