Sand Rock Peak is a mountain in California’s Santa Susana Mountains, rising to 2,511 feet. Its summit overlooks Newhall and the rest of the Santa Clarita Valley to the northeast, giving it a prominent vantage over the landscape below. From the peak, the higher summit of Oat Mountain can be seen to the south. Sand Rock Peak is one of the overlooks along the edge of this mountain range above the valley, making it a notable high point for views across the surrounding region.
