Gilbert A. Fontaine of Spring Valley, New York, a U.S. Navy seaman apprentice, was killed in action during Desert Storm on December 22, 1990, and Tatiana Dees of Congers, New York, a U.S. Army staff sergeant, was killed in action during Desert Storm on January 7, 1991.
