Ottertail County Veterans Memorial Park is dedicated to the memory of veterans from Ottertail County who gave their lives in service to their country in World War I, World War II, Korea, Viet Nam, and OEF and OIF, and it also honors all military veterans regardless of rank, branch, or time of service. Its pillars bear the names of Otter Tail County service members identified as KIA, MIA, or POW, and include the pledge of allegiance and the words, "May our brothers and sisters in arms, who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, rest in peace." The park also includes numerous engraved pavers recording veterans’ names, branches of service, wars, periods of service, and supporting organizations and donors.
