Cody E. Holp grew up in Verona, Ohio, and lived with a passion for life and family, guided by his motto to live life to its fullest. He loved all sports, especially baseball and soccer, and received numerous awards in both. A natural leader, he served as a volunteer caretaker for a quadriplegic. He dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player and was known for a strong work ethic and for always striving to do his best. At Bluffton, he worked toward a degree in sport management and business and pitched on the varsity baseball team. A jokester at heart, he was active in Big Brother and Big Sister programs and loved making others laugh. He is remembered for his smiling presence and caring concern for others.
