Bolmer Cemetery is the oldest cemetery in the Washington Valley area. The Bolmers of colonial times are buried here along with their relations and neighbors. The remains of two soldiers who guarded the Middlebrook redoubts also rest here, and tradition holds that a British soldier is buried in this plot as well.
