This building served as the post office from 1874 to 1890. Other tenants included an insurance agency, a variety store, a shoe shop, and the Commercial Bank in 1912. Since 1955 it has housed a radio and TV shop, photo shop, telephone office, watch repair shop, tile and linoleum store, and a fruit store. Upstairs businesses have included a bookstore, the office of the local Dispatch newspaper, the Pleasant Hill Township office, a building and loan company, and living quarters. Current owners are Jim and Katrina Waltz.
