Tanks Peak is a mountain summit in the Uinta Range of northwestern Colorado, northeast of Dinosaur, reaching 8,726 feet or 2,660 meters in Moffat County near the Colorado-Utah border. It has also been recorded by the historical name Tank Peak. Although part of the Uinta Range, it is one of the lower-elevation summits there. Today, its significance lies chiefly as a named geographic feature in a remote part of Colorado.
