Richard Potts, a member of the House of Delegates, was born on 19 July 1753 in Upper Marlboro, MD, and died in November 1808 in Frederick, MD. Eleanor Murdoch Potts, the second wife of Richard Potts and a Revolutionary War Patriot of MD, was born on 2 November 1774 and died on 1 October 1842.
