Boston Mills and Brandywine are sister ski resorts in Peninsula, Northeast Ohio, about two miles apart within Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Developed separately in 1963, they began as rivals until Brandywine was acquired by Boston Mills’ owners in 1990, creating the paired resort complex. Together they offer 18 trails, 11 chairlifts, and a lift capacity of 20,000 people per hour. Boston Mills is known for the Tiger run, described as Ohio’s steepest slope, while Brandywine features Polar Blast, the largest tubing park in Northeast Ohio. The resorts later changed owners, upgraded lifts, and faced pandemic disruptions and staffing shortages.
