Haupt's Mill Covered Bridge

Haupt's Mill Covered Bridge carried road traffic over Cooks Creek in Springfield Township, Pennsylvania. Built in 1872, it was a covered bridge using the town truss design and measured 107 feet long and 15 feet wide. Its historical importance was recognized when it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 1, 1980. That recognition lasted only a few years. The bridge was destroyed by arson in January 1985 and was later removed from the register.
