Vincent Trimboli came to America in the early 1900's and later came to Elkins, where he worked for Senator Henry Gassaway Davis building a stone wall that still stands today, along with other stone and cement projects on the estate that is now Davis and Elkins College. Senator Davis would ride by on his horse and admire the good work Trimboli was doing. The Trimboli brothers also built many buildings and the first sidewalk in Elkins.
