The bronze tablet was erected by the Olive United Methodist Church in memory of the young men and women of this community who, by their patriotism and loyalty, served God and country in the wars of the nation. It was dedicated Aug. 5, 1945, reconstructed in 1974, and closed with the appeal, Pray For Them.
