The Eden Bell hung in the Eden Methodist Episcopal Church from 1908 to 1968. The church stood on Lot 40 near this site. The bell was actively used from its installation in 1908 until 1940, when use ended because of structural problems in the church. It remains a symbol of the former church, of all the saints who worshiped there, and of God's continued presence among us. Eden Methodist Episcopal Church eventually became Kilbourne United Methodist Church.
