Title IX provides that no person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. Redbird women leaders fought for equal opportunities and gender equity, and through their advocacy and lived experience, future generations are inspired to uphold Title IX for equity in athletics, education, and professional advancement.
