Theo. Pfeiffer was honored by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, whose charter was issued on May 11, 1895 in honor of Theodore Pfeiffer, regimental bugler of the 202nd Pennsylvania Volunteers, who died on November 29, 1864 in a hospital at Grace Church, Virginia, from wounds received at White Plains, Virginia.
