Pioneer Park Historical Complex in Rhinelander, Wisconsin preserves a small historical landscape through relocated and reconstructed buildings that trace the region’s development from the fur trade era to the late nineteenth century. Also known through its logging and schoolhouse collections, it includes log cabins, stores, and public buildings that reflect the growth of Rhinelander and the Northwoods. Additional museums and exhibits expand that story through Civilian Conservation Corps, railroad, industrial, and firefighting history, with displays of trains, boats, motors, sawmill equipment, chainsaws, and fire trucks. Its Hodag exhibit also connects local folklore and civic identity to the city’s past.
