St. Emma Plantation

St. Emma Plantation was the scene of a Civil War skirmish in the fall of 1862. Its circa 1850 Greek Revival plantation house was owned from 1854 to 1869 by Charles A. Kock, a prominent sugar planter. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
