Clark County honors all of its veterans, including those yet to come, for their service to God and country and the supreme sacrifice they gave. Sponsored by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars posts and auxiliaries of Clark County, it includes a veterans prayer that affirms resurrection and eternal life, asks for faithfulness among comrades as their ranks grow thinner, seeks mercy and comfort for widows, children, and all who are bereaved, and asks a Heavenly Father to bless the country with freedom, peace, and rightness.
