St. Andrews State Park is a twelve hundred-acre Florida state park about three miles east of Panama City Beach along the Gulf Coast, just off U.S. 98. With two and a half miles of beaches, it is a major public coastal recreation area offering both shore and water activities, including swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, bicycling, birding, and wildlife viewing. Boat tours and picnic areas add to its attractions, while facilities such as two fishing piers, camping accommodations, a visitor center, interpretive exhibits, and concessions support heavy seasonal use. The park also serves as headquarters for one of Florida's five AmeriCorps Florida State Parks chapters.
