Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh is a nonprofit organization operating four museums rooted in Andrew Carnegie’s philanthropy and his belief that cultural institutions should help people improve themselves and their communities. Centered on the historic Carnegie Institute and Library complex in Oakland, it includes the Carnegie Museum of Art and Carnegie Museum of Natural History, both opened in 1895, alongside the Andy Warhol Museum and the Kamin Science Center on the North Shore.
