Twin Bridges-West Paden Covered Bridge No. 121 stood over Huntington Creek in Fishing Creek Township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, as the western half of a matched pair of historic covered bridges. Built in 1850 as a 112-foot Burr Truss span, it formed part of the notable concentration of covered bridges in Columbia and Montour Counties, where twenty-eight are recognized. Its age and place in Pennsylvania’s covered-bridge tradition led to its listing on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. After the original nineteenth-century bridge was destroyed by flooding on June 28, 2006, an identical replacement was built and dedicated on October 15, 2008, preserving the crossing’s historic appearance and identity.
