Ravinia Consolidated School served as a humble but meaningful place of learning for fifty years, from 1917 to 1967, graduating 553 students and shaping lives through the education it provided. Dedicated educators, board members, and early leaders who envisioned the consolidated school made it possible for the community to benefit from the institution, known as the home of the Bears. A memorial built from original bricks, stone, and the school bell preserves reminders of the school structure, the memories associated with it, and the many students, teachers, board members, attendees, committee members, and contributors connected with its history. It was constructed in 2004 and dedicated in 2005.
