Those named served in infantry, cavalry, artillery, batteries, bands, the Veteran Reserve Corps, and on the U.S. gunboat Marmora, with companies and regiments identified for each veteran. The names are organized by sides, separating living veterans on the south side from deceased veterans on the west and east sides, and include John Everhart of Company F, 26th Iowa Infantry, with the dates October 13, 1825 to December 27, 1914, and Watson Molyneaux of Company L, 18th Pennsylvania Cavalry.
