The Burlingame Museum of Pez Memorabilia in Burlingame, California, was a specialty museum devoted to Pez dispenser history and collecting culture. Opened in 1995 by Gary and Nancy Doss after interest in their collection outgrew displays in their computer store, it claimed to hold an example of every Pez dispenser ever sold, including pieces signed by Lynda Carter and Jim Davis. In 2004 it expanded with the Classic Toy Museum, adding familiar twentieth-century toys and a Banned Toys Museum section. After a trademark lawsuit by the Pez company in 2009 was settled in 2010, the museum stayed open until its permanent closure in July 2019.
