The Oleson-Crane Building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the Department of the Interior. In 1989, it was purchased and presented to the Lincoln County Historical Society and the Museum of Pioneer History by Ola Armstrong, Lorraine T. Berry, Wanda Burt, Eula Mae Cross, Donald F. and Sally Ferrell, David Hellman, Mrs. Victor Hellman, Mrs. Roy Hoffman, Jr., Paul and Lola Mae Martin, Dr. and Mrs. Dee Pennington, A. Freeman and Allie May Smith, Jeanne Hoffman Smith, Dr. and Mrs. Paul J. Smith, and Basil Wagner.
