Built about 1915 next door to his residence, this brick building served as the medical office of Dr. Henry Edwards, one of Latta's first physicians, and later as the dentist office of his son Luther. Luther's daughter Carolyn deeded the property to the Dillon County Historical Society. After extensive renovations, it became the Dillon County Museum, offering a turn-of-the-century glimpse of life in Dillon County through documents, photographs, and cultural collections. Its permanent exhibits include re-created offices of Dr. Henry Edwards and Dr. Luther Edwards, the impact of tobacco on the local economy, and changing historical and cultural exhibits. The museum is staffed part-time by local docents.
