Ogdensburg Harbor Light stands on the St. Lawrence River at Ogdensburg in northern New York as one of the state's surviving historic light stations. Though privately owned, it is recognized by the National Park Service's Maritime Heritage Program as a lighthouse to visit. The tower was altered in 1900 with an added section, reflecting a later stage in its working life on the river. The light also endures in popular memory through souvenir postcards preserved in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History's Archives Center. In 2016, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, affirming its maritime significance.
