Hope Island State Park
Nature
Hope Island State Park is a two hundred-acre marine park on Hope Island at the northern end of Skagit Bay in Washington. Accessible as an island destination, it features beaches, forest, occasional meadows, and rock outcroppings. The park remains relatively undeveloped, with primitive campsites and a trail crossing the island. Five mooring buoys sit off the northern side, and herons nest at the southwestern end. Significant cliffs back much of the shoreline, limiting access inland and contributing to the island’s secluded, rugged character.
