The Ansonia School building opened for classes in October 1903. Constructed with red bricks, the two-story building had eight rooms, a library, a well furnished laboratory, and a large red brick bell tower at the top holding a beautiful bell. That bell is now housed in a 2004 bell tower and is dedicated to Ansonia Alumni members and the many friends of Ansonia Schools.
