In 1902 J.W. Roark and Son purchased the Meisenheimer Merchantile stock and began business on 5th and DeGeer. In 1908, they built a new building at 514 Main, and in 1915 they built a massive two-story building. The building later was the site of the RVW Store, Duckwalls, Brown McDonalds, Scott City Pharmacy, and currently Giftologists.
