The Givler and Moyer families, both respected longtime residents of the North Central College community, were associated with the house that stood at the corner of South Loomis Street and Van Buren Avenue until 1975, when it was moved to 400 East Chicago Avenue. E. J. T. Moyer was treasurer of Kroehler Manufacturing Company, and Walter Givler was cashier of First National Bank of Naperville.
